BIO
Welcome to my site! Here's a bit about me.
An avid bookworm, I majored in English at Vassar College and spent my post-college years traveling the country performing literary work in theaters. McGraw-Hill was hiring, and I found myself editing textbooks and encyclopedias. I got to learn about many subjects, from Kansas City to music history.
I then took a job editing courses at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). Once I got a chance to build a few courses on my own, I took the leap into instructional design. In the past six years, I've developed graduate programs and undergraduate courses, presented at conferences, and completed my MS in learning design and technology. A seasoned designer of online learning experiences, I'm up for a fresh challenge.
As a lifelong learner, I am committed to providing stellar learning experiences within a beautiful and clean interface. I believe in clarity over jargon, substance over flash, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
